Kale Chips

Never thought I would like kale, but these are addictive! Kale is so incredibly good for you. This is a yummy little snack, leave a bowl handy and munch a few each day. What an easy way to get: One cup of kale contains 36 calories, 5 grams of fiber, and 15% of the daily requirement of calcium and vitamin B6, 40% of magnesium, 180% of vitamin A, 200% of vitamin C, and 1,020% of vitamin K. It is also a good source of minerals copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. One of the top foods in the battle against cancer with anti oxidants and beta-carotene.

Utensils: baking sheet pan

Kale Chips
1 or 2 bunches of kale
2 tea sea salt
cup olive oil
tea cayenne pepper


Tear kale into bite size pieces, discard the stems. Mix above ingredients together and toss with the kale to coat kale. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 20 min. Remove and stir or flip pieces. Put back into the oven for 10 more min. Remove, cool and enjoy.
