Thi Peanut Sauce

Great with many oriental foods especially Pad Thi Noodles, chicken, shrimp, pork or beef.

Servings: 4     Prep time: 10 min     Cooking time: 5 min
    Ready to eat in: 15 min
Utensils: Measuring cup & measuring spoons

1/3 cup chicken stock
3 tab brown sugar
3 tab rice vinegar
1 tab lime juice
2 tab soy sauce
2 tsp anchovy or fish sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 tab peanut butter
2 to 4 dashes of red pepper flakes - to taste

Directions

Whisk all ingredients together. Pour over the meat or noodles and cook long enough to bring the sauce up to serving temperature.

Alternative Recipe Ideas

  • Use crunchy peanut butter and add a couple or tablespoons of chopped un-salted peanuts.
